Dad, It was wonderful spending time with you and the rest of the gang in Gatlinburg. I really enjoyed your new song, "You owe me nothing but love." It is a beautiful composition. Thank you for the wonderful caregiving you provide for Mom. It is a hard job and you do it extremely well. It was very touching to hear you tell the funny and sentimental stories about Mom. I had a wonderful time, so did Sug, Gina and the kids.

August 11,2008 Brother Petree: Thank you for the awesome music and wonderful sermons on this website.I remember the 1960s in Dayton, Ohio and hearing your testimony about your illness. Last week, I was at work and wishing to hear music from my childhood that I often enjoyed while at church. I found your Church through CGMA website. Barbara Wilson

as i have been in service with the Petree family and in campmeeting the thought came to me as a layman, it has been my honor to set under the sound of such great men as brother Petree, I may never set on the platform, may never recieve great rewards down here, may never be noticed by great men of god, never the less, if I can walk in the footsteps of these great men and do what god has called me to do faithfully it will be worth it all in the end to hear my lord say " well done thou good and faithful servant enter into the joy of the lord

Sometimes in life we have the honor of meeting someone that not only impacts your life but also many others. There are very few that can constantly do this day after day. Bro. Arlie and Sis. Jeannie have done this in a godly way. I can only say, that the both of them are wonderul people and a Godly example for others to follow. I love them both and my prayers and thoughts are often of thinking of them. God Bless you and your family and church. DA

Brother Petree, I want to honor you and thank you again, for your investment in my life as a child. For it is with deep gratitude and joy that I can reflect on many hours spent together while in churches or your home, growing up under your ministry and pastoral covering in Muncie, IND. Your example and willingness to include me in your "inner family circle" and travels provided the opportunity and context for me to attest your consistancy up close and view you as a "spiritual father, benefiting from all of the informal conversations and "ministry coaching." Please know that I retain the highest respect for you and your wife, whom I have always regarded as sort of a "second mother." Yet, the primary reason I honor you, is because of your unwavering focus and intimacy you have strived to cultivate with the Holy Spirit. Now of course, it's OUR turn to be spiritual fathers. Yet I thank you for being a ready instrument to take your bow and shoot this arrow in the direction of assignment and purpose. Thanks "Dad" for everything.

Being of course your favorite child, I am not sure if I should wish you a happy father's day, or congratulate you on being the father of such a wonderful son. Actually, the only thing that exceeds your fatherly love is my humility. Nevertheless, Happy Father's Day.

When I traveled with Lois Jane you gave her a cassette tape that we listened to over and over while we we traveling all across the country. The song that so touched me and that meant so much to me was, "The Scars Won't Matter ",when the VICTORY is WON. Thank you for that song and for bringing honor and glory to our king.

I was bound by fear of death. I thought I was going to die from heart trouble each day, when the fact is, I didn't have a bad heart, but fear had overcome me and depression. I was completely in fear. Arlie Petree took me to church, prayed and praised the Lord over me and the fear left. Now, when I get chest pain I am not afraid, perhaps I should be, but his prayers worked to the extreme. The fear of death from a heart attack left that night.

You are always gonna be my Pastor and I am proud to say Arlie Petree is the Minister who has inspired my life with old time preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The bible says, "...ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein." Keep looking up Brother! We have you and Sister Petree ever in our hearts and prayers. May God Bless and Keep You and Yours is our prayer. Your Friend and Brother in Christ Darrell Maynard.

Sir, I have heard so many good things about you and your wife I find it hard to believe you actually exist. I have one of your sermons on CD and have watched family videos. You, your ministry and your family have been an inspiration to me. I pray that God will abundantly bless you and your family for your work in Christ.

As My Pastor, he is my constant advisor, my Spiritual Leader, and my ministerial guide. As a grandpa, he's a prayer warrior, and a friend. I have willingly accepted the call of God to carry on the mantle of my Grandpa, and By God's grace, I don't intend on dropping it. Without my Grandparent's, I wouldn't be who I am today. Both my Grandpa, and my Grandma, are two of the best people I've ever known. It's a pleasure to serve under them in our church. Matt. 6:33

This one thing always sticks out in my mind when I think of My uncle Arlie and Aunt Jeanie........When I had a problem that I needed someone to help me pray about...."call Arlie & Jeanie"....They cared enough to intercede to God for you. It always made you feel things would get better. Also, because of the Anointing, when they got up to sing you could feel an awesome presence of God. Keep up the good work you are doing, and remember we are praying for both of you!!! Your Neice, Charlene

I first heard the Petree brothers [Leon and Arlie] preach and sing over 35 years in Southern Ohio. It was apparent to me then that they were from a Godly and very talented family. Arlies songs has blessed lotz of people. But Bro. Petree's most commendable quality is his faithfulness. The way that he has so faithfully served his wife during the years of her illnes epitomizes a man of God.

You were the first pastor that I ever remembered having I think I was 4 or 5 . Those were the good old days in church finding a place to sleep either on the floor or laying across 2 theater seats in the church only to be awaken hearing Jeanie singing "I've got joy like a river". Thank you for your continued service to the Lord Jesus Christ that others may follow by your example.

In nature, to grow a healthy, mature tree, the tree must be planted in good, fertile soil. The same is true of your family tree. Your mother planted a seed of God's Word in your heart and began a heritage of blessings. You, Bro. Petree, have guaranteed the maturation process of your family tree by feeding your family the Word of God and allowing the Holy Spirit to water and prune it. The most awesome thing is all fruit has seed in it. I have benefited from the good fruit that has come from your family tree, as countless others have.
